One Last Nudge: Can we close the gap on We’re-Not-Done Wednesday?
Hey everyone, David, Sara, and Ed here.
Quick update: thanks to dozens of you we’ve raised $3,670 for this year’s Energy vs Climate listener campaign. That leaves us $1,330 short of our $5,000 goal to help us pay for our producer, hosting, transcripts, and the random tech gremlins that show up every time Sara breathes near a microphone.
So here is our final ask of 2025, hot on the heels of our hot take on last week’s big Alberta-Canada MOU reveal:
If EvC has helped you make sense of Canada’s climate and energy circus, or at least given you something to mutter about on your morning dog walk, please consider chipping in a one-time or monthly donation. Big, small, whatever fits. Every contribution truly helps.
👉 Make a donation to support EvC
As a reminder, EvC runs on the leanest shoestring imaginable. We volunteer our time, so your gifts pay for actual production costs, and definitely not manicures (a documented theme in these emails for reasons none of us fully understand).
And because we’re a project of the Academy for Sustainable Innovation, donations over $10 come with a charitable tax receipt, a small reward for helping keep independent climate conversation alive.
This is our last fundraising email until November 2026. No more nudges. No more manicure jokes. Probably.
Thanks for listening, thanks for supporting, and thanks for being part of this slightly scrappy, deeply nerdy corner of the internet with us.
Be well,
David, Sara, and Ed
